About
Illuminate Life Yoga was founded to offer a sustainable, holistic approach to wellness that empowers individuals, groups, and organizations to integrate mindful practices into their daily lives. The services provided are tailored to meet the unique needs of each person, whether it’s for personal, professional, or group settings. Practices are adaptable to all body types, fitness levels, and any existing injuries, ensuring that yoga is accessible for everyone. We also strive to make these services financially accessible through a sliding scale model.

With over 15 years of experience in the wellness field, I have seen firsthand the transformative power of yoga—both on and off the mat. My journey began with the practice of Asana, which not only improved my physical health but also nurtured my mental well-being and sparked my spiritual growth. In 2017, I became a 200-Hour Certified Yoga Teacher and later pursued further specialization as a Yoga Therapist.

My career has since expanded to include teaching in a variety of settings, including alcohol and drug rehabilitation centers and women’s wellness programs. In these environments, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing how yoga can support individuals in overcoming addiction, healing trauma, and rediscovering a sense of self and purpose. Yoga, particularly through a therapeutic lens, offers tools that go beyond just physical postures; it provides a comprehensive framework for emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being.

In addition to my work as a Yoga Therapist, I am deeply committed to person-centered care. This approach emphasizes respect, empowerment, and a collaborative partnership in healing. I believe that each person is the expert in their own experience, and my goal is to meet each individual where they are, guiding them with compassion and practical tools for growth and self-care.

Whether you are seeking to reduce chronic pain, improve sleep, strengthen your body, or elevate your mental clarity and emotional resilience, my work is designed to help you align your mind, body, and spirit. Yoga, as a therapeutic tool, provides a wealth of resources for whole-body wellness—resources that go beyond symptom management, addressing the root causes of imbalance in our lives.

If you're ready to embark on a path of healing, growth, and self-empowerment, I invite you to join me on the mat and begin your journey of illumination from within.
